This big blanket is worked from the center outward in a cozy worsted weight wool. The bold colorwork sun transitions into simple lace followed by a knit/purl chevron pattern, and finally finishes with an attached garter stitch edge. Old Forge is sure to keep your lap warm while you eagerly knit each section. Try working with a fingering weight yarn for a lighter shawl/wrap.
