Reflect upon the vast vistas as you climb stitch mountains and soak up stitch sunrays in Optimistic Elevations. A cool technique makes this graphic design easy to knit – only one color is used per round! Travel the world with color as you choose your two favorites. From the sweeping blues of the Himalayas
to the lush greens of South America, make the mountain peaks pop and the sun shine with varying luminous tones.

The tech edited and test knit pattern is fully written and charted. A grafting how-to video is available on the blog.

Blocked Gauges:

Note: exact gauge is not critical to this design. Gauge variations may impact final size and yardage requirements.

Special Notes:
Color It: for help when choosing your colors, MC creates the mountains graphic and CC creates the sun graphic.
Slip It: always slip as if to purl with yarn in back.
Mark It: on Rnd 28 of the Mountain pattern, the start marker moves. Use a locking stitch marker or two standard markers for easy movement. If you use two markers, on the following Rnd 29, remove the marker when you come to it.
Graft It: for finishing the top I-cord, graft live sts to the cast on. Check out the blog here for a quick video demonstration.
