This hood is made with Stylecraft Special DK from Deramores.com and is made using simple stitches in creative ways. It has been tested using Caron Simply Soft with great success as well! As long as you can meet the gauge listed and like the fabric that results, feel free to sub in yarns, you are looking to get 16 sts x 12 rows in hdc in a 4” x 4” swatch! Test it out and let me know what yarn you choose!

It has been fully tested and has many photos to assist you as you create your own! I would rate this intermediate, but as the stitches are simple, I feel a confident beginner could most likey have great success as the pattern is very thorough.

In addition, it features pom-poms that are HEART shaped with a tutorial to do so!

It is one size fits preteen to adult, and Caron Simply Soft is a good sub if needed!
