Orphans for Orphans Sweater
Pattern Description from Knitting for Peace page 106: “This cozy sweater is made using a novel construction technique that keeps the knitting interesting and the finishing minimal. The center front and back are worked in simple rectangular panels; stitches are picked up from those panels to knit the sides and sleeves all the way down to the cuff. With side seams knit of grafted together, little sewing is required at the end. Like many projects in this book, this one is a blank slate onto which you can apply your favorite stitch patterns and color combinations. It’s designed to use up ‘orphan’ balls of yarn in your stash.”
