These adorable little owls can be made in any variety of colors-- whatever mood strikes your fancy. (After all, it’s owl for you!!)

Don’t let the idea of working size 5 Perle Cotton scare you away from this pattern! It is held double, making it easy to work with, but you can also do this pattern with a single strand of multicolored sock yarn instead!!

The construction is very simple-- it’s just the details that give these owls their adorable look. What’s best about this is you can make it with whatever colors you like! (For thread, purchasing those “friendship bracelet” packs from your local craft store work great for making multiples in various colors.)

The yardages are an estimate for about 20 yards per color, although sock yarn might require more. You will also need felt and buttons.
