This easy beginner blanket uses single crochet stitch in US terms to create a beachy serape-inspired blanket.

Size: 45” wide, 68” long (114 by 173 cm)

Yarn: Worsted or aran weight (category 4).

The sample blanket used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream 100% cotton yarn (113 grams per 200 yards 184 m for a Super Size ball).

6 balls Ecru (ivory, 1200 yards/1104m)
3 balls Hot Pink (600 yards/552 m)
2 balls Seabreeze (mint green, 400 yards/368m)
1 ball Cornflower (blue, 200 yards/184 m)
1 ball Bamboo (yellow, 200 yards/184 m)
1 ball Indigo (navy, 200 yards/184 m)
