This boy’s jacket, filled with traditional Irish knit stitches, is for the rough’n’tumble boy – knit in washable worsted wool, the jacket is a sampler of cables, knit-purl combinations and the ubiquitous seed stitch. The style is a dropped shoulder and is knit in one piece to the underarm, with the sleeves knit down from the armholes and the buttonhole band worked as you go … this is not only a fun knit but also has minimal finishing.
