This cute Penguin Finger Puppet was inspired by the Fantastic Penguin Rescue Fund efforts SKEINZ undertook as a response to the Stranding of the Rena container ship in the Bay of Plenty (NZ) during October 2011. Pattern can also be used as pen/pencil or bottle topper :)

Pattern written in US terms. Stitches used are (American) slip stitch, single crochet, increases, decreases and a magic circle.

You’ll need a 3mm crochet hook and about 50 meters of DK/8ply weight wool plus Yarn Needle, Scissors and Stuffing. Small quantities of embroidery floss for the facial features and detailing.
