A quick and fun little 2-round block that combines to make a lacy secondary pattern. Pattern has been customised to include invisible joins and eliminate starting slipknots.

Pennies & Lace can be made with any weight yarn and the appropriate hook. I used a DK weight mercerised cotton to make the pillow topper seen at left. The turquoise and green 4-block swatch was made with worsted weight wool.
