New, revised Version Oct 21, 2010!
Please make sure you have the latest version before you start knitting. I have changed the layout a little (so crucial lines will not be missed anymore), added some markers for more clarity and slightly changed the instructions for the sock-toe.

I love overalls with feet for my babies: They are easy to put on, replace pants, sweaters and socks, but the best thing is that the feet actually stay in place! This pattern is based on a baby romper I found in an old crafting book from eastern Germany. I have worked several of these over the years and made a number of improvements. In a pretty sockyarn like Wollmeise, this little overall will be both durable and the envy of every mom at baby massage class!

It will help if you have knit at least one pair of plain vanilla (baby) socks before starting this pattern.

Please note: This is the first „complicated“ pattern I wrote, so please forgive me if something is unclear. I will gladly correct any bugs or help you out, just send me a message!

Thanks pinneguri, tiavola and CouthyQuine for helpful comments.

You can find Pinneguri’s Norwegian version of the pattern here (thanks for translating!)

Please make sure you download the correct language version: The English version is named pepitaENGLISH.pdf.
Die deutsche Version heißt pepitaDEUTSCH.pdf.
