This is an asymmetric, triangular, easily constructed shawl which grows with increases worked only on one side of the shawl and decreases that shape the wavy edge. Switching yarn in the middle of the row is a handy skill in working this shawl – photo-tutorial is given in the pattern.

Finished measurements:
63”/160 cm top edge width
28”/70 cm deep from its deepest point
By adjusting needle size and with different yarn you will get different size alterations.
Gauge:
20 sts & 30 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter st.
The exact gauge is not important in this pattern, however different gauge will affect to your yardage and shawl size. With different yarn and needles you can modify a bit the size of the shawl.
Yarn:
Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light (100 % Merino Wool, 100g/420yds/384m per skein). You need two skeins, color A and color B. Total yardage in the sample was approx. 250yds/230m per color = 500yds/460m colors together. The sample was knitted with colors baltic (Color A) and smokestack (Color B).
