The sweater is worked using the domino knitting technique. One diamond is worked at a time, but the diamonds do not need to be sewn together as they are knitted together along the way.
The sweater has 3/4 length sleeves and the diamond domino construction means that the armholes are low.
The design is worked in two identical sections – a front and a back. The sections are sewn together at the shoulders as well as under the sleeves and along the side seams. After this half diamonds are worked to create the straight edges at the hem and the rounding of the neck edge. At the end rib edges are worked along the neck edge, hem and bottom of the sleeves.
