Halloween Pirate
Materials and tools
- yarn in yellow, blue, black and red colors (I used less than 50 g of each)
- small amount of brown color yarn for the wooden leg (optional);
- matching crochet hook;
- a pair of black half beads for the pupils of the eyes (I used 8 mm in diameter) and a piece of white felt for the whites of the eyes;
- wire for the arms - the diameter and quantity depends on the size of your toy. I used approximately 60 cm (23.6 inches) of wire 0.7 mm in diameter (optional);
- transparent glue;
- a piece of plastic (plastic canvas or plastic lid) or thick cardboard for the insoles;
- stuffing;
- tapestry needle;
- a skull decoration for pirate bandana (or a piece of felt, or acrylic paint).
Measurements:
I used “Jeans” by YarnArt (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50g/160m) for the main parts, “Baby” by Alpina (53% polyester, 47% bamboo, 210m/50g) for finishing and 1.75 mm crochet hook. The toy is 14.5 cm tall (5.7 inches)
