Plisse (’pleated’ in Italian) is a finished, fitted warm weather tank. Japanese short-rows shape a gently curved hem, bust, and diagonal line above bust. Top begins with a provisional cast on and knit-in hem, and continues in the round up to separation of front and back. A smattering of pleats and fine linen yarn take this simple, tailored tank up a notch.
Don’t let the small gauge fool you; Plisse knits up quicker than you would think. You’ll be rewarded with a beautiful summer top that beats the heat!

There are two separate pdf files for sizes: 32-42” and 46-54”
Finished bust sizes: 32(34, 36,38,40,42,46,50,54) inches
(sample shown is 34” size on a 34” bust)

Gauge: 8 sts and 10 rows=1 inch on larger needle AFTER blocking. With linen especially, it’s really important to know your washed/blocked gauge. The piece will stretch lengthwise and shrink up widthwise (slightly) after blocking.
