Notions: Darning/tapestry needle for working in ends.

I came up with this scarf for one of the nurses, Diane, who attended to me and my son in the postpartum ward at Stanford Hospital. She said her favorite colors were blue and yellow, and for the life of me I couldn’t picture a scarf with both colors. I started knitting with the leftover yarns from my son’s baby blanket, and this is what I came up with.

The scarf is worked lengthwise, with a beautiful crochet edging to complete the soft, feminine look. Play around with colors to see what you can create!
