In transitional weather, a yoke-without-the-sweater makes a surprisingly versatile accessory. Wear Pyry loosely draped about the neck or snug it down over your shoulders, capelet style, to fend off the chill. Knit top-down in Shelter, this cowl begins with a cozy ribbed turtleneck and features a cabled shield motif filled in with single rib. A folded hem provides a clean finish at the bottom edge of the yoke.
Construction
The cowl is worked from the top down and finished with a faced hem. You may either sew the live facing stitches to the inside of the cowl or bind off the stitches and then sew the facing to the inside.
