A good amount of my time each week is spent volunteering towards racial justice, unity, and working towards equality. I can see how big of a difference even a small contribution can make toward these organizations and communities.

This RACIAL JUSTICE top 6-page pattern is my first-ever knit yoke stranded colorwork design and first-ever knit intarsia too with the multiple individual strand color twisting in back, so hope my clearly new practicing of float tension doesn’t make you twitch too much, haha.

A working title for this design was ‘Fists and Flames’ over at (and shout-out to) https://reddit.com/r/craftivists.

We start this top-down seamless design at the neckline, complete the Candle chart rows (color grid stitch chart only), complete the Fist chart rows (also color grid stitch chart only), then split for the sleeves which are put on hold as the straight torso (free from shaping) is completed down to the waistline. Then short sleeves are completed seamlessly as well.

This pattern design in US knit terms may not be distributed or sold as your own, but feel free to sell a finished item made from this pattern.
