Radagast The Brown is a wizard in J.R.R. Tolkein’s Lord of the Ring books. While he wasn’t in the Lord of the Ring movies, he was in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, portrayed by Sylvester McCoy. These gloves reminded a fellow Raveler of Radagast, and so they got their name.
The mitts feature a 1x1 cable rib on the cuff, which extends up the thumb. I suggest you take this opportunity to learn to cable without a needle, if you don’t already know how. The mitts are worked cuff up.
