Slipped stitches form rays and gradient yarn creates a striking interplay of shades, but the knitting is quick and easy . ☺ BE SURE YOU ARE SLIPPING YOUR STITCHES CORRECTLY - CHECK IF IT LOOKS LIKE THE PATTERN PHOTOS.

Listed as worsted, but you can use any yarn weight from fingering to aran.

You can make a small accessory size with as little as 300m/330yds (check yardage not weight), or use up to 600m/660yds for a bigger wrap size.

For the “radiant gradient” effect you need at least 2 repeats of the sequence - the original blue one was made to alternate the gradation of 2 skeins of the Schoppel Gradient yarn - other yarns that can produce a similar effect are listed as recommended yarns above.

The pattern can also be used to create other effects using one self-striping yarn and a solid; or even 2 solids.

The boomerang shape (asymmetric triangle) is my favourite shape - both to knit and to wear.

Click here to see more of my patterns using this shape and here for some ideas on how to wear it.

Saving paper + ink - the instructions are on page 4-5; these are probably the only pages you’ll need to print - you can read the rest on screen.
