You get the pattern for the hippo AND the coordinating hat! There are a TON of photos and it has been fully tested so that you will find it a pleasure to make.

It is intermediate skill level amigurumi and is worked with bulky/5 yarn (750 yards) OR double strand worsted/4 (1500 yards) yarn. Either will work. You will need to know how to work in the round, accurately count stitches in a round as it is very count dependent for shaping properly, sc, hdc, dc, front loop/back loop.

You can dress the finished hippo in any 3-6 month baby clothing, how flippin cute is that?!

You win :) Due to the way I created the pattern page I was unable to separate it out after my Cyber Monday deal of 5.00 for both without destroying my links and projects added. Therefore instead of my original plan of 5.00 for the Hippo and 4.00 for the hat as separate listings for a total of 9.00, I chose to keep it as is and have the hat be a part if it for 1.00 more at a 6.00 price. I found this to be the best resolution to benefit my future customers while maintaining my pattern page history.
