Choose What You Pay: In an attempt to make my patterns more accessible and at the same time have fair pricing, I’ll be using a Choose What You Pay model for this pattern. I have provided a “true” price that I find to be fair for the labor that went into this pattern and the codes below for financial flexibility. You can choose what you are able to pay while honoring my work (and of other makers).

To pay for the pattern at your price range, input the coupon code during checkout. The highest price point doesn’t require any code.

No Code - Pay $7.00

LONG1 - Pay $5.00

LONG2 - Pay $3.00

LONG3 - Pay $2.00

This model is experimental, so feel free to comment/message me any helpful input and I’ll get back to you when I can.

“Your Resourcefulness.”

And that was how part of the name of this cowl came to be. For the second half of the name, the swirling pattern reminded me of an ascending serpent leaving behind a twister. Also, I’m born in the year of the Dragon (龍) and felt quite resourceful using up all my yarn with no to little leftovers.

The cowl is knitted in the round and is seamed to create a tall single-wrap cowl, which takes about 200g of DK weight yarn.

Go through your stash and use whatever you have, whether it’s a bunch of sock yarn (just hold it double) or a couple of DK weight skeins, to create this squishy cowl. #stashbusting
