The flowers shown were crocheted from worsted yarn using an F/5 (3.75) hook, and they measure 4 1/2” across and 13 1/2” around. But you can use any yarn weight and hook size to achieve the size you want -- a bulkier yarn and bigger hook will result in a bigger flower, while a lighter weight yarn and smaller hook will result in a smaller flower.

This is an easy pattern that contains no abbreviations and uses only basic stitches.
