This winter purse is so thick and cozy! It’s a perfect size carrying your wallet keys and phone on a day when you don’t feel like using your carry-all tote. At about 8.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall, it would also make a great purse for a child or teen.

If you want to make your purse a bit bigger, increase the starting chain by multiples of two.

I added a more traditional button-closure to my bag.

It didn’t quite take 1.5 skeins of yarn to make this purse. I was trying to get by with only one skein, but I didn’t quite make it.
