Ribcage
A delicate decorative lace shawl combining gossamer yarn and cables with an unusual structure.
Knit on 3mm/US2.5 needles with Jamieson and Smith Shetland Supreme 1-ply natural white yarn; (the tones have been inverted in the images for dramatic effect). The cast on was done with a 2.25mm/US1 needle. The bind off was done with a 5mm/US8 needle. Cable needle or dpn also required.
Knit from the top down with approximately 20g/300m/320yds of yarn.
Dimensions after blocking: approx. 32in/81cm across x 18in/46cm at center back. The size can be increased by changing needle/yarn size and/or adding repeats.
