Ripple Tapestry Tote
A tapestry-style ripple pattern worked in soft glacial colors gives cool, classy style to this felted tote.

Finished Sizes:
Before felting: 19 inches wide x 14 inches tall x 4 inches deep
After felting: 12 inches wide x 13 inches tall x 4 inches deep
Materials:
- Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted medium (worsted) weight wool yarn (3 1/2 oz/220 yds/100g per hank): 2 hanks #71602 petrol blue (A); 1 hank each #12270 natural (B), #91868 vivid blue (C) and #12235 sidewalk gray (D)
- Size K/10 1/2/6.5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
- Tapestry needle
- 14-inch zipper
- 24-inch-long suede tote handles
- Matching sewing thread (for zipper and for handles)
- Sewing needle
Gauge:
Before felting: 13 sc = 4 inches; 19 sc rows = 4 inches
Working in ripple pattern: 1 rep of 1 shell plus 1 set of dec = 3 inches; 6 rnds = 4 inches
