RISPEN is a female beanie worked in two-color brioche stitch. A bottom up hat featuring a botanically-inspired allover pattern of frozen trees and leafs. Details like the German twisted cast on, seamless transitions from ribbing and brioche pattern and shaping crown decreases yield a female accessory. Perfect pattern to gift yourself or to warm the ones you love.

The RISPEN hat has a brim, is very stretchy and well-fitting at the same time.

I really would love to make you trying brioche knitting. So I have tried to keep the pattern simple, based on the basic brioche stitches, increases and decreases. Although it looks like cabled stitches, there is no need for a single cable needle. You can do it, knitters!

All shown samples were knit in Fyberspates Vivacious DK, which creates a very squishy, dense warm fabric and makes brioche stitches pop out for glorious texture. I was using soft gentle greys in the foreground (MC) and bright colors in the background (CC).
The hat can be knit in multiple sizes only by changing needle size and gauge; Block the finished cap over a steep-sided bowl or other head-shaped form to smooth the stitches and the crown.

RISPEN ist ein feminine Mütze im zweifarbigen Patentmuster. Am Bündchen beginnend, entfaltet sich ein All-over-Muster, welches von gefrorenen Blättern und Rispen inspiriert ist. Details wie ein doppelter Kreuzanschlag, der fließende Übergang von Bündchen und Patentmuster und wohlüberlegte Abnahmen für den oberen Abschluss lassen das Stricken nicht langweilig werden. Ein perfektes Muster um Dich einmal selbst zu beschenken oder um Deine Lieben ordentlich zu wärmen…

Gern möchte ich Dich überreden, es einmal mit dem zweifarbigen Patentmuster zu probieren. Ich habe versucht, das Muster simpel zu halten, basierend auf einfachen Patentmaschen, Zu- und Abnahmen. Auch wenn es Dich irgendwie an ein Zopfmuster erinnert, Du wirst keine Zopfnadel benötigen. Du kannst es schaffen!

Alle gezeigten Beispiele sind mit Fyberspates Vivacious DK gestrickt, es ergibt wunderbar luftige und zugleich warme Maschen, die Patentmaschen werden sehr schön plastisch und haben eine tolle Textur. Ich habe warme Grautöne im Vordergrund verwendet und starke leuchtende Farben im Hintergrund. Die Mütze kann in verschiedenen Größen gestrickt werden, wenn Du die Nadelgröße und die Maschenprobe veränderst;
