I designed this shawl for Burda Style Finland Craft Cruise (6.-8.10.2016), hence the name of the shawl. I am teaching a class on shawl constructions there.

The shape is a biased triangle. The mesh pattern is easily memorizable. It is based on garter stitch.

The gauge is not important. Sock yarn (100 g/390-450 m) or any wool of a similar weight would be fine. Variegated yarns like Aade Lõng Artistic 8/2 or anything similar would give a nice result.
