R.K. (Road Kill) Squirrel
by Andrea Brush
Named after a great uncle (Road Kill Squirrel Sr.) R.K. opted to go by his initials to avoid confusion at family gatherings.
Always helpful and diligent R.K. was out gathering acorns for his cousin Maureen Sue when he neglected to look both ways. In his final moment he finally got to see his dream car – a restored 1968 Ford Mustang in racing orange.
Rest in peace, R.K., you are missed.
A crochet pattern for the intermediate to experienced crocheter. R.K. is “stuffed” with his acorns. Acorns can be removed, thus flattening R.K, by pulling on his tongue. The finished toy measures approximately 15” from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail.
