Roses and Ivy is my crocheted version of an allover knitted sweater pattern that resembled roses and ivy on a trellis. Constructed of many individual motifs, your choice of colors will give many different looks. So many beautiful versions have been posted!

This warm and solid afghan will provide you with hours of enjoyable crochet as you combine several sizes of octagons and squares with basic crochet stitches, clusters, and front-post stitches.

Pattern as shown measures 80” x 58”. Pattern instructions were updated in 2020 with charts for the five motifs (No chart for the border trim.) Simple video link included in pattern notes.

This sample uses Stylecraft Special Aran - 12 skeins Cream, 2 skeins each Pale Rose, Camel, Storm; and 1 skein each of Pistachio, Parchment, Cloud Blue, Sage, and Silver for a total of 23 skeins.
