I designed this headcovering after receiving the hand-dyed yarn as a gift. It is basically a headband, with a top that covers the top and back of your head.

It’s a fun one-skein project that involves a bit more complexity than an average hat with short rows and bobbles. The short rows shape the kerchief top to hug your head and then the back tapers down to a point. There are links in the pattern to short row tutorials if you need them.

I’d love to hear from anyone who decides to make one… it’s my first design project. :)
