Rossbeg
The warm orange tones of this “Soft Donegal” yarn will brighten up any little girl’s wardrobe. Knitted from the top down, you can easily add length to create a long tunic style for your child to wear over leggings. Decorative and feminine, this cardigan is worked with two simple design elements, a braided cable and garter stitch. The braided cable portion of the yoke is knit first. Next, you pick up stitches to work the neckband and then pick up from the bottom of the yoke to finish knitting down the body. This garment is sized to fit a little more snugly than with standard hand knits; if your child likes her clothes to fit loosely, then go up a size.
