Terms Used:

• Chain - ch
• Stitch - st
• double crochet - dc
• starting double crochet: sdc, used to start a new row of dc (can sub ch2)
• half double crochet - hdc (done in the two “back” loops sometimes)
• slip stitch - sl st round/row - R#
• front post double crochet - fpdc, a double crochet st performed around the post of the st below it.

You will find a brief picture tutorial on how to hdc into the back two loops in the pattern, as well as the video.

Things You Will Need:

• 4.25mm crochet hook
• worsted weight yarn (200 yards) and ruffle yarn (35 yards each color or 150ish yards total)

Gauge: 6 by7.5 hdc sts in two inches when working hdc in the “back loops” in the round.

Sizes: Small (Med, Large, XL). 5-6 (7-9, 10-12, 13-15) inches. I would round up if your measurement falls in the middle.
