These two pieces are quick to crochet. The sweater can be worn either way - as a cute top or as a cardigan. The skirt has a ribbon tie at the waist.

September 2012 NOTE: Row 6 has proven to be a confusing row to some crocheters. Please make the following note on your copy of this pattern: On Row 6, you will work the first 2 dc and last 2 dc on the stitches of Row 5. This stablizes the edges. The treble stitches are worked underneath the ruffle so fold it back when you work the trebles. The trebles are worked into the back loop at the base of the ruffle stitches (so technically on Row 4).
