Rustique Snowflake Earflap Hat
A cozy winter hat, perfect for anyone! The earflaps and stranded pattern make it extra warm!
Uses size 7 dpns and circulars, and size 5 dpns for the applied i-cord. You will not need more than one 100g skein of the MC and 1 50 g skein of the CC.
The pattern includes charts for the snowflake pattern. You will have to do basic increases (kfb) and decreases (k2tog), an applied i-cord, and make a pom-pom -- instructions are provided.
PATTERN EDIT:
After chart B, the pattern reads:“This time, k2tog at the end of every stitch marker (this should be every 8 stitches the first round, 7 stitches the next, etc.)…..You should be decreasing a total of five stitches each round……”
This should be changed to say knit 14, then k2tog, at each stitch marker (Next round: k13, k2tog, etc). You should still have a total of five decreases each round.
