This is my version of the infamous Sackboy. I know there are a ton of these patterns out there but I was asked to make one for a friend’s son and I didn’t like any of the other patterns that were offered. So after a week of working and reworking from a stock photo, I finally managed to get what I wanted.

I suggest using Red Heart Super Saver Solids in any shade of brown for the body, aran or off white for the stitches around the top edge of the head and on the inside of the arms, and grey heather yarn for the zipper (if you use yarn to create the zipper). I had one tester use a pop tab from a soda can for the pull tab of the zipper!

For my Sackboy, I used grey felt for the zipper, 15mm safety eyes for the eyes, black and red felt for the mouth and tongue attached with hot glue. You may use any adhering technique desired, this is just how I assembled mine.

I used less than one skein of RHSS warm brown for the body, aran for the stitches, 15mm safety eyes that had a brown iris, red/black/ grey felt, metal yarn needle, low temp hot glue gun and glue sticks and poly fiberfill for the stuffing.
