Saint Olga Scarf
This is a lace rectangular scarf worked in one piece from the lower lace edging to the top of the center section. The top lace edging is worked separately so its direction of knitting will match the lower edging, then the two pieces are grafted together with the Kitchener stitch.
Materials:
Yarn: about 50-100 g of any solid color yarn that holds a blocking ~ 874 yds/800 m /100 g. or thinner.
Needles: US 2 - 6
A tapestry needle (for grafting)
Blocking pins and wires
Blocked size: ~ 17/55 ins. It also depends on the number of repeats of the Body scheme, on your choice of yarn and needles as well as the individual manner of knitting.
My white scarf is made from 50 g. of Haapsalu Shawl Yarn by Midara (100% wool, 1531yds/100g), US 2 – 6 needles. Blocked size: ~ 17/55 ins. (10 repeats of the Body).
