Scalloped Brioche Dishcloth
This pattern is available as a

This dishcloth/washcloth is based on Barbara Walker’s Double Brioche stitch (Honeycomb Brioche stitch in Nancy Marchant’s book Knitting Brioche). Whatever you call it, this stitch is one of my favorites. It is a little tricky to learn, but once the pattern becomes familiar you can fall into a great rhythm. Before attempting this pattern I would recommend familiarizing yourself with basic Brioche stitch. Making my simpler Colorwave Dishcloth would be an excellent preparation.
For the example in the photo I used Sara’s Colorwave Yarns hand dyed sport weight cotton yarn, #2 needles, and 44 stitches.
