The Screaming Floral Hat is a quick and easy beanie/toque with a loud, graphic floral pattern. The pattern is fun to knit in the summer and warm to wear in the winter.

It comes in 2 circumferences.
18”/46 cm made using a US Size 6/4 mm circular needle
gauge: 11sts = 2”/5cm
20”/51cm made using a US Size 7/4.5 mm circular needle.
gauge: 10sts = 2/5cm

It also comes in 2 lengths.
The short hat requires
90 yds/82 m background color
100 yds/91 m motif color

The long hat requires
110 yds/101 m background color
125 yds/ 114 m motif color

A folded brim can be added and requires an additional 80 yds/73 m of motif color.

The yardage us generous to accommodate both sizes and make small pom poms or tassels. The examples all have large pom poms. If you wish to have large pom poms, additional yardage is required. I used roughly 100 yards per pom pom, but I make mine very dense. Looser pom poms will require less yardage.
