I love the houndstooth stitch and I love espadrilles, the marriage of the two was the inspiration for these slippers. They are so comfortable once you put them on you will not want to take them off. I suppose if you added a sealer you could wear these outside too (I’ll have to experiment). I’ve made them in many colors and each combination takes on a different personality too!

These work up quickly in worsted weight yarn - I used cotton but other fibers would work well too! The instructions include sizing from US Women’s 5 - 11.
