Sea Urchin
This crescent shawl is knit in one piece from the center-top down. Rows of graceful Feather and Fan increase in size and remind me of a sea urchin you might find on the beach.
This deceptively-easy shawl can be made from a single skein of your favorite lace, sock, or sport weight yarn – or, you can make it larger by repeating the last section of the pattern. Due to the nature of the stitch pattern, you can bind (cast) off after any row. It’s the perfect pattern for using every bit of a favorite yarn.
