After a month of test wearing by Oktoberkind they actually do seem to stay on!

This pattern is based on the original Stay On Baby Booties pattern by Knitgirls Mother. Unfortunately that pattern is not available anymore. Because of this and because I modified the pattern heavily I decided to call it a new pattern.
