This cowl is knitted in the round.
Someone asked me to knit a bulky cowl which would pool around the shoulders and then be a little more narrow around the neck with enough length to pull over the head.
This one came out really nice and I have already had some inquiries about the pattern, so here it is. I made the original cowl in a medium size, but think that it would be nice if it was a little longer if you want it to pull over the head without stretching from the neck area. Either way I am sure you will be pleased with the construction. Having a wider base around the shoulders the cowl fits comfortably under your coat.
