I am proud to announce that I am a first time aunt to the cutest baby girl named Senna! She is totally adorable, and I can’t wait to teach her how to knit in the future. This sock pattern is named after her.

You may know of the Rick socks from Sock Innovation which are named after my speed demon brother. Well, the Senna socks are similar but a bit smoother with cables and stockinette yarnover diagonals. I’m betting she turns out to be a speed demon like her father, but I hope she’s a bit smoother with the driving. She is named after racer Ayrton Senna after all.
