These socks were inspired by the great spider, Shelob, and her web-filled lair as described in the Lord of the Rings series. The web cleverly encases your feet and legs, entwining around your calves and soles.

Full color pictures and chart will guide you though each step. The techniques in the pattern include top down constrution, colorwork designe and gusset heel.

Bonus: Included in the pattern are suggestions for modifications for fitting the high-instep foot.

Different sizes can be achieved using different needle sizes, and differing weights of yarn which may increase or decrease your yardage requirements.
