Silk Road
About
I started designing this cowl because I wanted to prove to myself the magic of knitting. Having just finished a shawl that ate up three full skeins of Tosh Light, I was aching for a single skein project. I had two skeins of Malabrigo Mora sitting around and I challenged myself to make a one skein project that required only one skein of Mora. I started knitting and knitting and knitting and I couldn’t stop! The silk was gliding effortlessly around the needles and in no time I had two cowls in my lap!
Feel free to knit this pattern in any yarn you want. You could get both sizes out of one skein of sock yarn hint hint hint
This pattern comes with instructions for two sizes. “Cowl” a taller vesrion and a close fit to the neck, and “Loop” for a long infinity scarf that can be doubled around your neck.
Silk Road is such a joy to knit. Such simply stitches on glorious yarn make an accessory that’s to die for. I hope you love knitting it as much as I did!
