Silk Swirl
Original yarn used was Silk for Life. 100% silk, 4 ozs., 600 yds. skein. Recommended substitution in the book: Aurora Silk Smooth Spun: 12 ozs., 336 grams. Both of these yarns are probably discontinued. The recommended yarn is similar to these two, but will need to be doubled or possibly tripled to achieve gauge. Other possible yarn substitutions include Twinkle Cruise, or Handmaiden Silk Maiden, both silk/wool blends.
This lovely, easy pattern is great for beginners to lace knitting.
