Simone
Note: I need to shoot new pics & reformat my patterns formerly available through Sanguine Gryphon. I’ll announce on my blog, newsletter, & rav group when they’re ready!
Simone languorously sips champagne as she lounges on her tufted, overstuffed divan. Peacock feathers dance in the evening breeze as she gazes about.
Every detail is perfect, from exquisite beading, curve-enhancing fit, delicate lace, and luxurious cashmere layers.
Simone is worked in separate pieces, with the band worked first, bodice worked top down and grafted to the band, then the lower portions picked up from the band and worked down. Diagrams are included to help obtain proper measurements for the bodice construction.
Simone is decadently gratifying for both process and project knitters.
Skills required: knitting in the round, lace, beading using the crochet hook method, reading charts, kitchener stitch/grafting, lace, i cord edging, picking up stitches, sewn hem
Thank you to the Sanguine Gryphon for Technical Editing.
