A woolly, slouchy hat pattern, perfect for a beginner to make!

I see many knitted hats like this in a similar shape on Ravelry, and I couldn’t find a crochet version, so this is my answer to the knitted beanie. I wanted one that was slouchy, but not TOO slouchy!

PLEASE NOTE: Some people have pointed out that the hat has come out a different size than they expected. I used TWO strands of DK yarn together for this hat. But you could try with one strand of an equivalent weight (e.g. Aran or bulky), to get a similar result.
