The small 3 st-cable is knitted like this:
Row 1: Knit three plain sts
Row 2: Knit three plain sts
Row 3: Slip one stitch, knit the next two stitches,
then lift the slipped stitch over the two knitted stitches.
Row 4: Knit one, yarn over, knit one.
Repeat.
