I designed this hat with a few things in mind. It needed to be soft and warm, as I live in a very cold climate, have an interesting stitch pattern that would keep it from getting boring, and I wanted to maximize the beautiful multi-tonal colours in the Malabrigo Rios. This textured stitch pattern really shows off the yarn, and was a ton of fun to knit. It can be whipped up fairly quickly, and definitely passed in the soft, and warm category.
